To honour outstanding contributions to the welfare and development of women and children in India, Ruchika Social Service Organisation instituted the Inderjit Khurana National Award. The award recognises individuals and organisations whose exemplary work has created a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable women and children. An independent jury of eminent experts evaluates nominations through a rigorous selection process to identify the most deserving recipients.
To extend this recognition to a wider range of inspiring initiatives, Ruchika instituted the Inderjit Khurana Excellence Award during 2025–26.
Inderjit Khurana National Award:
Carries a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 along with a citation and memento.
Inderjit Khurana Excellence Award:
Includes a cash prize of ₹5,000, a citation, and a memento.
Since its inception, the Inderjit Khurana National Award has honoured six outstanding organisations from across India, while five organisations have been recognised with the Inderjit Khurana Excellence Award.
Through these awards, Ruchika celebrates excellence, inspires innovation, and encourages greater commitment to advancing the rights, dignity, and well-being of women and children.
